Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There is a Holy Well in Clover Hill near Ballinamore. A tradition said that the well moved from a tyrants land named Lauder unto a mans land named Anderson. When Lauder dies the well moved back to its former place. This Holy well is known as St Brigids well. The track of her knee can be seen in the stone where she knelt in prayer. Hundreds of people go there every year on the first day of February to do stations.
    There is a little well in the townland of Kiltyfea. It is on a fairly high hill and it is shaped like an oven. Any one suffering from warts goes to this well and they are cured. There are special days for going to this well, on Mondays and Thursdays. The person has to bring a piece of a cloth with them and rub it on the wart saying five Paters, Aves, and Glorias. When you have the prayers said you tie the cloth on the bush that is
