    where there would be no smoke going up. He lets long sticks and short ones drop down one after another and they catch in the chimmney. This is the way he makes his nest.
    The pigeon is a grey bird about the same size as the jackdaw. The pigeon builds a very bad nest. He plaits a few fine sticks in and out through other. When the pigeon is done building his nest he lays two or three eggs but never any more. Pigeons eat rape and small cabbage plants. They are not much good for eating because they are too small.
    The hawk is a grey bird something like the pigeon only he has very sharp claws. He uses these claws when he wants to get a chicken. When the hawk comes swerving down he catches the chicken in
