- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)had bad clothes and so she bought the makings of a suit and she gave them to a tailor to make them. She wanted to give them away for the good of his soul. The tailor was slow in making them and when she went for them he used to say 'maybe it might be for myself I would make those yet.' At last she gave consent to make them for himself and they would get married. They had no money to get married and so she made the bargain with the parish priest that she would give him the little fat pig that she had fattening for the fare, but to take him at night. They were married on a Saturday and on that night Neddie came home from his daughters. When he arrived home he saw that his wife was in bed and he said to himself that he would leave her rest, and so he slept with the little pig. On that night the priest send two boys for the pig. The minute they opened the door, Neddie thought they were stealing him, and he began hitting them with a blackthorn stick. They went home and told the priest that they saw Neddie Kelliher's(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
