    My farm is situated in Muckduff and near the town of Enniscrone. It is also near the sea. It is in the parish of Castleconnor. The size of it is twenty six English acres. It is of a clay nature. It is used for grass and tillage. The names of the fields are the far field, the hill field, the middle field, the field behind the kiln, the clover field, the haggard field and the fort field.
    In this fort there is a whin bush. There is a stream running on the boundary of our land and it flows into the river Béal a'mhadhaigh. That river flows into the sea at Ennscrone. The mearning fence is a hedge. Our land is mearning a fort where a Black Pig is said to be buried. The old people say that they saw fairies playing on the Black Pig's grave.
