    On Christmas Eve a piece of timber from a fruitful tree was procured. This timber was burnt on Christmas Night. A little piece of it was kept and put away safely. It was supposed to save themselves and their house from big wind and fire all through the year.
    A part of the burnt log was also taken and shaken on the land so that their crops would bear good fruit for the year.
