- There are a few forts in our district. There is one in our field but there are no stories told about it. There are three trees at it and a big rock in the middle of it. There is one in Tom Jame's field and people heard fairies dancing and churning in it. There is one in Lisnarower and a fairy came out of it and went in to a house near by and asked for meal and they gave it to her. She went out to the fort and went down in it and was never seen again. There is an other large fort near our house and the people say there are fairies on it but no one ever seen them. We always call them forts. They are made of clay and stone and some of them are bigger than others When a cow is eating anything she always blows her breath on it for fear she would eat a fairy.
