Ar an leathanach seo
- There were two brothers living together in a house in Liscary one time. One of the brothers found a bag of gold coins hidden in a ditch in one of their fields. They were all Queen Ann coins and the two brothers took them to Dublin and sold them. One of the brothers bought a farm of land near the city with his share of the money. He hadn't the farm very long until he got sick and died. The second brother who had been living with him came back again to Liscary. A few days after coming home he had occasion to follow a cow through a field. While doing so he fell into a large bunch of briars and knocked out one of his eyes. If you ever came across hidden treasure have nothing to do with it because it never brings any luck.
