- The most commonly found wild-birds in my district are as follows; Crow, Sea-gull, Lapwing[?], curlew, pidgeon, wild-duck, wild geese and many others.
The wild-duck, lapwing, wild geese, and curlew migrate to other countryes to hatch and rear their young in Spring but return in Autumn. They fly to Scotland, Norway and Sweden and other countries where they stay during Spring and Summer but return in Autumn when they climate is not suitable for them.
The crows and sea-gulls stay at home and are always flying about the land. The wild-duck makes her nest generally in marshy ground and lays about thirteen eggs.We can judge the weather by the birds tactics when we see them flying very low inland we can expect wet stormy weather.
