  1. The mare and the ass are in one stable and it is called the mare-stable. The cows and the calves are in one stable which is called the cow-house. The hens and the turkeys are in one stable and it is called the hen-house. The ducks are in one stable for themselves called the duck-house. There is no stable for the geese, they are left out at night.
    There are names on the cows and on the mare. One is called "Horney," another "grey," and another "Small," The mare is called 'Nelly".
