Owen Ford and some of his comrades were digging potatoes on a fort one day. One side of the fort had been damaged and cut away but the other side was alright.
When the evening came they decided to make a fire to roast potatoes, as they intended to have a good supper before going out rambling.
Whilst turning the potatoes they heard a noise in the good part of the fort. Immediately after, there came around two big pointers or in the other words sporting-dogs. Owen said, we are caught because here is the master coming and its on the early(continues on next page)- Collector
