- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)In my district there is a couple of rocks in a townland called Drum. The people say there is a giant buried in that place.
Once upon a time two giants in Ireland were arguing with each other when after a while they began to fight. When they were fighting for a couple of hours one of them wounded the other badly and he died in a short time. Then his people buried him in this grave and put the stones on top of him.
Shortly after this they found a lot of gold in his house and they brought it to the grave and buried it there along with him.
A long time after this a man heard about the gold and went to get it. When he opened the grave he saw the gold and a ball of light behind it with too very big hands out of it which were round the gold minding it.
The man on seeing this closed the grave and went home very much afraid.
