- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)various parts of this country too. He was a very good hand at fixing clocks and watches. He used to mend these clocks and watches at a very reasonable price. He visited this district very often and at different times of the year. He used to sleep in a barn while he was in this district. He carried alot of tools with him and he also made cans and saucepans and on that trade he earned his living.
Mary Ward was another person who earned her living like-wise. She was a pious lady and she sold various sorts of articles for example, rosary beads, holy pictures and articles of various types. She also sold hair grips, pins, needles and broaches. She used to get some tea and sugar from the people as alms. She only visited this district a few times. She came generally about Christmas time and she used to get shelter in a barn and food also.
