By the wide rolling tide to the wet of Tralee,
Lies a beautiful region that is washed by the sea.
For health and for beauty and scenery grand,
Few places can rival our own Barrow strand.
II
When midday is nigh and with heat you're oppressed,
Climb Crosty's steep height and there sit and rest,
Look down on Poll Gorm rolling tranquil and slow
And drink in the sweet breath of the ocean below.
III
Then stroll to the west at even's calm hour,
Creep in and out through famed Poll-a-Gabhar,
Watch the waves charging in with many a shock
The steep craggy side of the wild pigeon rock.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
