There was a man by the name of O'Shea living at Ventry at the west of Dingle. Every seven years there was a great big tower seen out in the strand from Ventry. One day when Mr. O'Shea was training a horse for a priest on the strand, he saw the tower appearing. He rode out towards it and when he drew near it, he discovered that there was a net all around the tower. He dismounted the horse and began to roll up the net to take it home with him.
