   Kilmurry school house and likewise graveyard
   Where many a truant was often slapped hard.
   The catholic church where we go to pray
   The peal of its organ may be heard far away
   The protestant church stands lonely there
   Where all of its members unite in one prayer
   The Cordal police barrack takes a prominent place
   Midst the sceneries and beauties of Cordal's bright face,

   Renowned Cordal cross and Tobar na bhFionn well
   Where all Irelands champion cyclist from there he did well (D. Jones).
