- Fishing is a very healthy pastime but one should know a share to become a good fisher. The art of fishing with the net has not yet died out. Long ago in each house there was a net. The net was composed of meshes. It was made by means of a needle and a mesh. The needle was made of timber. First a square piece of timber was got, then an eye was cut into it and was made round at the bottom so that it could hold the thread. Then a mesh was made from a piece of timber about an inch square so that it could give a shape to the net. When they fished with the net they pulled it from the bottom of the hole to the top so that they all the fish.Also they fished with the rod which is a very exiting game.
