  1. I live in the townland of Meenleitrim in the parish of Knocknagoshel and in the Barony of Trughanakmy. There are twenty four families living in our townland and over a hundred people. Most of the houses are thatched and very few are slated. The most numerous of the families are Curtins. There are about nine old people getting the pension in the townland but any of them aren't able to speak Irish.
