- Long ago when people used get a cut they would gather a fistful of cobwebs and they would put them into the cut. Then they would close it and after a day or two it would heal up and would get better instantly. Another cure is, if a horse got a sore or a cut, the people used to get a weed called "the gosadan" and squeeze its juice out.Then they would pour it into the cut and it would immediately heal.If a boil broke they used to make a poultice of soap and crushed sugar and leave it on for the night.
