When Threemile-house chapel was building, the people were deciding where the graveyard would be so they appointed a night to hold the meeting. The next morning although it was the month of June, there was two foot deep of snow in this field about a mile and a half from the church. As there was no snow any other place they consented to have the graveyard there, where it still remains.
