Cuckoo-sally was also used as vegetables. This plant is found along banks and amongest long ago.
Water cress was very much used also. This is found by the side of a river or a stream. There is another plant that resembles it very much which is poisonous. Water cress was believed to be a cure for a bad stomach.
Liver bruac is another poisonous plant
Dandelion was used for swollen limbs. There is a little yellow flower resembling the gorse flower. It was used as a dye. We don't know its name.
Another flower called the Spiders eggs was also used for dyeing purposes.
