  2. About sixty years ago an old man discovered a bowl which was full of gold in Russelstown bog; it was rolled up in a canvas cloth. He was cutting turf when he found it. He dug it up and opened it and saw that in the bowl were many pieces of gold. He emptied it out and found that it contained
