a portion of Kilronan Castle, and other historical views, which would attract the eager eye of any tourist. Chroniclers visit Kilronan graveyard on account of the many buildings and sceneries in its vicinity. One very famous spot in the Cemetery is the ruin of an old monastery where long ago it was inhabited by monks, but like other religious structures it is thought it was destroyed by Cromwell's un-merciful soldiers. The great O'Carolan's skull is still preserved in "The National Museum" Dublin. This Cemetery is only about a half mile from my home.
