There was a Land League meeting in Gurteen during the time of Parnell. The Chairman of the meeting invited Colonel King Harman over to stand on the platform with him. In the meantime Colonel Robinson, his agent, write a letter to him, telling him that if he went over to the meeting he would be shot. Colonel King Harman had his horses dressed in green, ready for the meeting(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
