Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Kilcash is a small country village situated about six miles east of the town of Clonmel at the foot of Sliabh na mban mountain, and formerly the seat of a branch of the Butler family, and a place of note in its time. The only vestiges now remaining to attract the traveller's attention are the walls of the castle. The venerable mansion was finally prostrated in the year 1800 and the materials sold for a trifling consideration to a Mr James Power a merchant of Carrick-on-Suir, by (the then) Lord Ormond. The reference in "bhíodh iarlaí ag tarraing thar tinn ann" will be understood from a note by the late Rev. C.P. Meehan - "To escape the
