One day she went into a farmer's house where there was a cow sick. She told him she would cure the cow for ten shillings, and he agreed. She went and got skeough thorns an boiled them in water. She gave the water to the cow to drink. When the cow had the water drunk she got up and walked around. The farmer was so glad he gave Kitty the money, but when Kitty went away the cow died.
Anywhere she got a night's lodging she was gone before daybreak. The people got afraid of her and they decided to get rid of her. They struck on a plan by which they thought they could keep her under control. They put her in a barn, from which she could not escape, but to their surprise she disappeared. How she got out no one ever knew. The people intended to bring a priest next day, but Kitty had vanished and was never seen afterwards.
