Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There was treasure supposed to be hidden on top of a hill in Rathlyon. A priest hid it there. He put into a hole and a big stone on top of it. There were several attempts made to unearth it, and they all failed. A man that was away in some foreign country heard about the treasure and he came to Ireland to get it.
The treasure consisted of three bars of gold. It was worth a thousand pounds. There never has been treasure found in my district. There are no traditions connected with the Danes.
It is supposed to be guarded by fairies. A man dreamt about the treasure, Every night there was a light seen there.
