- There are many weeds growing athome. The most harmful ones are the docks and the praiseach. They are both very harmful to crops.
There are the thistles and the blind eyes. They are not as harmful as the docks.
One weed that grows beside wheat is supposed to be a cure for warts. The blind eye if you hold it before your eye it is supposed to make you blind. It is found growing in poor land.
There is another weed that is a cure for warts. It grows in potato drills. When you squeeze it milk comes out of it. If it is applied every day, the warts will vanish in ten or eleven days.
