  1. There is one holy well in this district. It is situated in the townsland of Killgorey. St Lon lived in killgorey and built a monastry in Killgorey.
    There is an old graveyard to be seen there. There is a trunk of an old tree in the graveyard. The holy well spung from this tree.
    People often go to Killgorey in the summer months. Many other people go to Killgorey in the Month of May and on certain feasts of the blessed Virgin.
