Strange Story
In 1918 a black pig was seen in Mrs Dowd's field in Kiltrustan, by a school girl named Katie Connelly and Mrs Dowd. It was seen in the daytime and it came out of a ditch near the field and it was always grunting.
It was seen three times. People came from all parts of Ireland to see the spot where he was.
It was supposed to be a sign of war and was prophecied by Columcille in his prophecies.
He bored a hole under a tree and had a clutch of young pigs which use to run through the fields and feed on the grass
It was not seen since the war.- Bailitheoir
