  1. Long ago people ate three meals a day. They were, the breakfast, the dinner and supper. Most of the people long ago used to get up in the morning at six, and they worked till eight when they had their breakfast. At the breakfast porridege and milk were eaten, and at the dinner potatoes meat and milk are used and at the supper oaten bread and milk. At the dinner a basket of potatoes was left on the floor and they used to sit around it an eat away.
    Bread was made with oatmeal which was made by grinding oats between two millstones. The oatenmeal was mixed with water into the shape of cakes. Then they got two flat stones and heated them in the fire and baked the cakes between them. It is about one hundred
