In olden times the tailors used to go house to house making clothes. But this method is not used now and the people always take the material for the clothes to the tailor's house.
The tools used by the tailor are, a tape for taking a person's measure when making clothes, a needle, thread, scissors, thimble, and an iron for pressing clothes. Most modern tailors have sewing machines and these help to do quicker and better work.
