The following are some of the old cures for certain diseases. These cures were always successful if carried out properly."Rheumatism"
For this disease a noted cure was the juice of a plant called wild sage. This plant is boiled with water and put into a bottle. When wanted it is taken in spoonfuls, a few spoonfuls a couple of times a day. This is also a cure for any inwardly complaint."Whooping Cough"
The remains of a ferret's milk is a good cure for this disease. Another cure is to go nine times under a mare donkey & to bless yourself each time."Measles"
To drink the remains of a ferret's milk is also a cure for this disease. Another cure is to put a little of the droppings of a sheep into some hot milk and to drink it."Appendix."
