- About eighty years ago in in Cork city there was an old Church that was turned into a library. There was a man taking charge of this library, keeping it clean and locking it by night. One night as he was about to lock it, a priest appeared to him and asked him to give him a piece of paper that was in a book with a red cover. The man got the piece of paper and gave it to the priest. Then the priest told him that written in that piece of paper were the sins of a deaf and dumb girl and he forgot to burn it when he got it from the girl.
