- Festival CustomsOn Saint Stephen's day all the boys go around singing the wren. They cut a bush of holly and decorate it with ribbons and papers etc. Some have the wren or an imitation one on the bush. Generally two go together one singing the song and the other taking the money. People like to have the wren boys visit them on that day as they consider it lucky.
