- There is a holy well in Kilbegly called after the Saint that was there. There is a request granted to any one who visits three times, doing three stations at each visit.
There is a white thorn bush growing over it and when people go to do a station they tie a piece of string on the bush. There are three heaps of clay around it to kneel on when doing a station. There is cup beside it for to drink three mouth fulls of water in the name of , Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
On one of the heaps there is a timber cross. About ten years ago a tinker who was camping near it took the cross to burn it and it would not burn so, he had to bring it back and it was never stired since that.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
