- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)flannel drawers were worn. Very heavy frieze trousers were worn which were made at home. They used wear also half coats without any sleeves. On Sundays they used wear tail coats.
The women wore big long chemises down to the calves of their legs. These chemises were made of flannel, and usually it was themselves who made them. They had two inside jackets and one outside one. There were buttoned up the front and they were very warm. The women spun the thread themselves and the weaver made the flannel out of it. They wore two flannel petticoats out side the chemises.
