    Over sixty years ago there lived a man in Dunmanus, named Frank Helen. He was considered to be a wonderful dancer. All the people in the district loved to watch him dancing. His favourite dances were "The Irish Hornpipe" and the "Reel and Jig." He could dance many other dances as well as those two, and better still, he could "keep the floor warm" for a considerable time without being in the least tired.
    Of comparatively recent years foreign dances were introduced into Ireland, and for a time found favour with the Irish people, but evidently the people have now grown tired of such dances, and instead, are everywhere taking up afresh, with a new zest, the beautiful old Irish dances, with the result that the foreign dances are fast dying out, and very few, if any, of them are now
