Ballydehob. - There is a holy well called the Blessed Well in the townland of Ballycummisk about three miles from the school. It flows from a rock into the strand. Rounds were performed, and prayers were said there in former times, and over the well there is a white thorn tree growing, and rags are put on tree by those who(continues on next page)
