- A game which is commonly known by all, is a game played with the rhyme "A Letter to my Love" said while its being carried out. A group of children catch their hands together in a ring. One girl steps in the centre of the ring and takes handkerchief in her hand. She then walks from one to one around this circle repeating these words"I wrote a letter to my love,
And on the way I lost it,
Some one of you must have picked it up,
And put it in your pocket. She then repeats "It wasnt you, nor you, nor you, and so on until she comes to a certain girl. She then throws the handkerchief at her and says "It was you." Then they have a chase and when the girl is caught the other must say the same thing over again and so on.
COLOURS is another game which I play. All the children sit on a row upon the green grass.(continues on next page)
