  1. Diseases / Cures.
    Toothache / Crack a frogs leg in your mouth
    Measles / Take the child to top of hill.
    Worms / Drink Cold water every morning & take salt instead of sugar in tea.
    Corns / Mix plain soap and sugar and plaster it to corn for one night
    Whoopen-cough / Put a child under and over a donkey three times.
    Warts / Place a slice of meat under a stone and as the meat is rotting so will warts
    Bleeding / Wash cut in cold water and put a cobweb to it.
    Burns / Rub oil to burn a put bread-soda over it
    Boils / Meacain dá
    Sore-eyes / A fasting spit or gold ring rubbed three times each morning
    Sore ears / Put sheeps woll into ear
    Sore-hands / Tansy and salt and water.
    Warts / Put into a bag as many stones as there are warts and throw away - who ever finds the bag will get the warts
