- The Páirc is the name given to a small plot of ground in the Village of Meelin and owned by Diarmuid DeBrún, Meelin. It probably got its name from the fact that it is surrounded by high benches of limestone rock.
- The Fuarán is the name of a field having a very exposed situation on the north-eastern side of Meelin Hill. It is owned by a farmer named Timothy Browne, Meelin, Newmarket, Co Cork.
