Florence Angland told me that he could see the light almost every night from his own door in this lios. The owner of the land Bill Connors as he was locally known had a Riabhac cow having some letters on its side. As far as F. Angland could remember T was one of those letters and the cow used calve in the lios every year. The cow was sold to Con Shea of Newmarket (cattle dealer & now succeeded by his sons in the business). Everything in the farm went wrong while the cow was away. The dog's eyes turned in his head and the other cattle went almost mad with bellowing and running. When the cow was brought back everything was in its usual form again.
Another cattle-dealer of Newmarket (Mick Ring) purchased cattle from Bill Connors & paid him for them but when they were being taken away they began to bellow frantically and run in all directions about the land and throw themselves on the ground. The cattle dealer got back his money and left the cattle behind.
