Then children put in one apple or a few apples into a pail or tub of water which they put in the middle of the floor. The children kneel down and put their heads into the water trying to catch the apple in their mouth. They are not allowed to
put any hand near the water or apples must catch it with their mouth.
The games which boys play football, hurling, hand-ball and fishing.
