    succeeds in doing so the person caught is blindfolded instead of him. "Snap apple" is played on Hallowe'en. An apple is tied to a cord and hung from the ceiling. The children try in turns with their hands tied behind their backs to take a bit of the apple. Sometimes the apple is put into a tub of water in the centre of the floor.
