    Rope Making
Mostly all farmers when they are saving the hay make ropes themselves which are used for tying the cocks of hay. These ropes are called súgáns. This is how they are made.
First the long hay is got and two people stand opposite each other. The hay is attached to the sticks. Then one person twists the hay until it is made into a rope and they keep adding the hay until the rope is very long.
