Michael Lombard and Patrick Newton saw a ghost near the stream at midnight long ago. There are two other streams in Ardrath. - (8) Britway:
The names of the fields are "The [?]" because it is up on a height. "The Glen" because it is down in a hollow. The "Hedge field" because there is a hedge in it. "The well field" because there is a well in it. There is one great hollow and one great height. It is said that there is a pan of gold buried under a bush in the "Well Field" and it is said that it is the seventh son of the blacksmith, that will find it.
