- My Great, Great, Grandfather who lived in Killacloyne, Carrigtwohill Co. Cork was a poet. He used write books and poetry. The people around this place used come every night to his house learning poetry.Also my Great Grandfather used write books and poetry. He used write to other poets letters in poetry. The other poets used write to him asking for the loan of books. The house in which my Great Great Grandfather and Great Grandfather lived was near Killacloyne cross roads in Carrigtwohill Co Cork. This house is tumbled down and there is no trace of it to be seen nor of the forge in which they worked in. My Great Great Grandfather lived to the age of 95 years. His name was David Barry. My Great Grandfather was aged 84 years when he died. His name was Michael Barry. David wrote poetry named An t-Aifreann. This poetry was saying to the people to listen to mass on a Sunday because it was better than anything in the world.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
