- A cure that the old people had for sores, in their feet and hands, and all parts of their body was a big tall weed with a yellow top, used to grow round their land., They used to boil the weed, and then put it up to the sores; or if the sore was on their legs put their legs into the juice of the weed and that would cure them. The name of the weed was, "The Buacallán Buide"
Another cure that they had was, they used to pull a weed called wild sage, and they would draw it in a teapot or a pot and they would drink the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
