- There are many wells in my parish but the most important of these wells is Killenagh well which is a branch of Saint Ita's. Tradition tells us that it removed one night because a woman near by used the water for domestic purposes. It is in the townland of Dromtrasna and the parish of Abbeyfeale.
It removed to where it now stands overlooking a tributary of the river allaghan. People pay rounds to this holy well every Saturday in May but during Winter scarcely(continues on next page)- Collector
