- There is a well in Williams Long's farm in Feenagh and it has power to heal from the shoulders up. Special rounds are paid by people who wish to be cured. In Maurice Geary's land there is a holy well called ''Horan's Well'' and it has healing-powers also. It is situated in Avaheen, Feenagh. In Castletown Co. Limerick, there is a well dedicated to the Blessed Virgin and it is known all over the county Limerick and elsewhere for its curing power. Sometimes relics are left behind such as a piece of wood or cloth. There is a bush or tree near all 3 wells.
